Need LPG work done properly?

Whether it is a twin-cylinder setup playing up, a regulator that has failed, or an appliance to connect, we handle the LPG side safely and certify it.

The short answer: We install and service LPG systems across Perth, from cylinder changeovers and regulators to appliance work and conversions. All of it is licensed gas work.

LPG is common where there is no natural gas connection, and it has its own fittings, regulators and safety points. We know the differences and work to them.

LPG is part of our licensed gas work, alongside appliance installation.

LPG and natural gas: what is different

LPG runs at a different pressure and needs its own regulators and appliance jets. Switching an appliance between the two is a job for a gas fitter, not a swap of the bottle.

  • 45kg cylinders
  • Twin-cylinder changeover
  • Regulators & pigtails
  • LPG to natural gas

A twin-cylinder changeover keeps the gas running by switching to the full bottle when one empties; the regulator is what makes that work.

Converting an appliance from LPG to natural gas, or the reverse, means changing jets and settings so it burns correctly and safely.

Regulators, safety, and who supplies the gas

A failed regulator is a common LPG fault and a safety matter. We are supplier-agnostic: we do the fitting and safety side, and you buy gas from whichever supplier you prefer.

Regulators and pigtails wear and fail over time; we replace them and check the system is safe and gas-tight.

We do not lock you to a gas supplier. You choose where your bottles come from, and we look after the installation and the safety.

FAQ

Common LPG questions

Where natural gas is available at your address, yes. It means converting or replacing appliances and changing the supply. We assess what your property allows and handle the gas work.
You do, from whichever supplier you prefer. We are supplier-agnostic and look after the fittings, regulators, and safety side.
Regulators wear over time and can be affected by weather and debris. A failed regulator can stop the gas or affect how appliances run, so we replace it and check the system.
Running costs depend on usage and current prices, which change. Where natural gas is available it is often cheaper to run, and we can talk through a conversion.
