Common gas line jobs
A point for a new cooktop, an outdoor BBQ bayonet, a hot water relocation, or extending the line when you add an appliance. We handle the lot.
- New cooktop point
- Outdoor BBQ point
- Hot water relocation
- Line extensions
We use materials suited to the run and the location, and keep wall and floor disruption to a minimum by using existing cavities where we can.
If your home has no gas connection yet, a new service connection involves ATCO, who own the network and meter; we will explain that process and handle your side of the meter.
Sized, tested, and certified
We pressure-test every new line and issue a compliance certificate, so the work is proven gas-tight and properly documented.
Correct sizing matters: an undersized line starves appliances when several run at once. We size it for the whole load, not just one appliance.
A bigger gas load can occasionally need a meter upgrade; if that applies to your job we will flag it before we start.
