Both are straightforward. A like-for-like swap reuses the existing point, while a new position needs a fan-rated mounting and fresh wiring run to it.
If you are replacing a tired or noisy fan, we take the old one down, check the fixing and the wiring, and fit the new one. If the fixing is not fan-rated, we sort that first.
For a brand-new spot, we plan the wiring and the switch so it suits the room and how it is used.

Many fans now come with a light and a remote. We connect the receiver, set it up, and make sure the wall switch still does what you expect.
