New reticulation, or a station that has stopped?

We install new retic, repair broken stations, and replace faulty solenoids, sprinklers and controllers, so the garden gets watered evenly on your watering days.

The short answer: We install and repair garden reticulation, from a single dead station to a full system, and we also sort the bore pump that drives many Perth systems.

A reticulation system is only as good as its weakest station. We track down the dead zone, whether it is a solenoid, a controller output, or a broken line, and put it right.

Retic runs off your water supply or a bore pump, and it is part of our wider plumbing work.

Why is one station not working?

A single dead station is usually a faulty solenoid or a controller output; a whole system down is more often the controller, the power, or the pump.

  • Solenoid valves
  • Controller faults
  • Pop-up sprinklers
  • Broken lines
  • Smart controllers

Solenoids are the valves that open each station; when one fails, that zone stops while the rest keep going. They are a common, fixable fault.

If nothing comes on at all, the cause is usually the controller, its power, or the pump rather than the valves.

Smart controllers and Perth watering days

A modern controller can water within your rostered days automatically and skip a cycle after rain, which saves water and keeps you on the right side of the roster.

Upgrading an old mechanical timer to a smart controller means the system follows your watering roster and adjusts to the weather without you thinking about it.

Perth has rostered watering days set by the Water Corporation; we set the controller to suit, and you should confirm your current days.

FAQ

Common reticulation questions

Usually a faulty solenoid valve or a dead controller output for that zone. We test which it is and replace the faulty part.
Yes. We fit and set up smart controllers so the system follows your watering roster and skips cycles after rain.
Yes. The bore pump pressurises the reticulation. If stations are weak or the system will not start, the pump is often involved, and we cover both. See bore pumps.
It depends on whether it is a repair or a new system, so we quote up front before any work starts. Request a quote and we will sort it.
